Music Review - JAI VEERU

Cast - Fardeen Khan Kunal Khemu Dia Mirza Anjani Sukhani
Music Director - Bappa Lahiri

This is Bappa Lahiri's first solo venture as a composer. First song SUFI sounds like a pakistani
album, with male vocals by Siam and female byTulsi kumar. Catchy vocals and music but lyrics by Sameer goes a bit weak, Rock version of the same song sounds better.

Then comes one of my favorite number by Omar Inayat - Tenu Le Ke Jana. This song has been released earlier in an pop album. This sounds like a slow punjabi hip hop number. Quite catchy...Good option for a grooovy dance...

Mika back in action with Raja Hasan (SA RE GA MA Fame) in Dhun Lagi. This is a typical "FUULTOO DHAMAAL" song, sure to hit the clubs soon. Last song of Raja Hasan was Mari Teetri. This too is on the similar lines. Two remix versions as well for this - progressive dance & electro. I like the latter.

Hard Kaur and Reema Lahiri tried to generate a foot tapping Aisa Lashkara but lyrics not that great and vocals not that catchy.

One more SA RE GA MA singer Mauli Dave launched in JV with Agre Ka Ghagra... Sounds similar to some song, no idea which one, Again an disappointing effort...

All in all a below average album exept 2 songs - Tenu Le & Dhun Lagi.
