Author - Vikas Swarup
I had bought this book like 3 months back, But after watching Slumdog i couldn't stop myself picking it up. You know i was looking for Vikas Swarup in the Oscars, I am not sure if he was around. I mean after all he is the man, he is the creator.
For all those who have not seen the movie and not read the book as well, Its a about a 18 year old guy who wins who wants to be a Millionaire and gets arrested for cheating on the show. Apparently the producer of the show doesent have money to pay the guy thats why he gets him arrested. And then he gets saved by a lawyer, then the whole story is about the guy explaining the laywer how he got all the answers throuh the experiances in his life.
The book is very different from the movie, The movie looks far more realistic in front of the book. The book reads like a mix of bollywood movies. I think movie is a better option.
